1. 2nd day morning, we started working.
2. Elvira would show how to paint on one side of the face and we had to paint the opposite side,after carefully watching her work.

2. It was baked at 800 degrees.

I am very happy that I did a seminar with Elvira who is one of the world's best portrait painter.
I enjoyed painting with her.
It was 4 days of painting from 9 AM in the morning till 5.30 PM in the evening.
It is very satisfying to see the results end of each day.
I am posting the photos that I have taken during the course of painting from day 1 until I finished the seminar.

DANCING GANESHA

One of my friends is a collector of Ganesha in different forms.I had received this dancing Ganesha card by some one.So I painted it for their 25th Wedding Anniversary.

Black and White

Black and white was the heme of the exhibition at ITU-November 2009.
this plate is a mixture of classic and modern technique of china painting.
The lace like design you see in the inside of the plate is worked with blanc mat and covered with white luster.

Last November I exhibited at the exhibition in ITU(International Telecommunications Union)

Dinner set with Hibiscus flowers painted for a friend.

Geisha

I have been working on a project now.
I am painting a geisha .It is spring and lots of wisteria flowers everywhere.So Our geisha is enjoying watching the flowers and also the humming bird on the wisteria bunch.
I will post the work in progress photo soon.
